Quantum Fall Fest 2022: Our first event 🥳 🎉

On November 26, 2022, we hosted our first Quantum Fall Fest, an event that was nothing short of QUANTASTIC! This event, inspired by IBM’s Qiskit Fall Fest, was designed to give students in science and technology a glimpse into the exciting world of quantum computing. OVer 70 participants joined us on this journey

#1. Event Highlights

The event was marked by insightful presentations from distinguished speakers who illuminated various aspects of Quantum Computing:

Somya Rathee, founder of Quantum Society Austria and organizer of this event, started with an intro to Quantum Society Austria and welcomed the guests.
Nico Einsidler an esteemed physicist, enlightened us about Quantum Computing Architecture and the current developments in IBM Quantum.
Dr Lukas Mairhofer,a professor at Fachhochschule Technikum Wien, gave us a glimpse into the job industry in Quantum computing in Austria and Europe.
Dr. Alexey Melnikov, the Head of Quantum Machine Learning at Terra Quantum AG, shared his expertise on QML and discussed its industrial applications.
Jalal El-Youssefa seasoned strategic consultant and business development professional, provided insights into QMware AG and demonstrated the market interest in the realm of quantum computing.
Adam Glos, a well-known figure in the field of quantum computing, spoke about Algorithmiq and near-optimal circuit design for QVC over Zoom.
Dr.Vincenzo De Maio from Technische Universität Wien gave us an insight into the molecular dynamics workflow for hybrid QC.
